2025 taught me that life is deeply unpredictable, and we must live it fully—while we can. One of the scariest moments of my life was when my dad got an attack. Those 15 minutes in the ambulance felt like a nightmare— a fear I’ll never forget, a memory that still gives me jitters. I’m endlessly grateful we were around, that things could be done on time, and that my mom—my superwoman— stood strong and handled everything when it mattered the most. It’s unbearable to see our parents suffer. And the pain feels even heavier when I think about losing my grandfather so suddenly. I wasn’t ready to let him go. But I’m thankful for the time we shared, for the love he gave my children, and for the memories that now mean everything. These moments changed me. They taught me never to take anyone for granted, never to ignore a call from my parents, and to keep talking, checking in, staying connected—no matter how busy life gets. Because love doesn’t wait.
