Woke up on a Monday and I realised, I did not have to go to Salt Lake at the office today. What a relief! Yet, couldn't shake off the little sadness from the loss of a habit. For almost 4 years, Zing has been such an integral part of my life, that now it's going to take me some time to find my footing without it. There were f-ups, there were fights, and there were days when this place made me feel like the absolute best. ❤️ I didn't think I could be stable in a desk job, but then I found a place that made me want to stay. I wish my creativity had the energy to weave some really nice reel or write it down well. i have so many memories and frames of the past years here, which I'll not let go off, even when I'm running out of storage. I'll forever be grateful to the team for letting me choose and figure out my own strengths and not asking me to fit into a box. This farewell was emotional. It's not a nice feeling to watch people cry, who you've been spending most of your time with everyday. Yet, I'll keep going back to that day to remind myself every-time I feel lost, that I'm worthy and can make an impact. ❤️ What a journey it's been. I'm not naming names cause there's been too many people who have been a part of this journey, not just people from Zing, but also my friends who showed up for shoots, the bloggers who turned into friends, the POCs who became last minute saviours, and the staff who offered me tea everytime I had headaches. I've love and gratitude for all of you. Putting it up without an approval, but hope it was fine.
