I realised on her birthday that my feed doesn't have enough pictures with my life's biggest influencer. My mom. So here's a small sneak peek into everything she is to me. My best friend, my first educator, teacher, philosopher, friend, love, dance partner, gossip partner, my angel, the cool mom. Mothers are truly selfless. But other than being a mother, she's such an amazing human being - generous, kind, understanding, a strong woman with opinions and a voice of her own. Even after life being difficult she strives, thrives, slays and rocks it. Finding happiness in little things is something I've learnt from her. She makes me humble, yet cheers for me the loudest. She asks me to look at the trees and recognise them while walking and makes sure my stock of safetypins, hair clips never empties. What a woman! Idk whether there's truth in the Hindi mythology about 7 lives with your soulmate, but I know without doubt that in every life I would want to be born as your daughter. You're a star.
