Little Pranay holding his , historically speaking, first leather Kashmir Willow Bat and walking back to the pavillion with an odd 20-30 runs(which was a huge deal for me, mind you). Then, waking up as a 4 year old and seeing myself featured in the rising star column of the Tuesday Newspaper. The feeling was surreal. Feels like it was yesterday. I hugged my bat that night (just like I'm hugging my bottle here -which I asked the umpire to hold because mom said hydration is important) and slept thinking of how cricket was truly fascinating. Thought there was no better time to bring this out than today: on day 3 of the ICC World Test Championship. The Messiah to boredom , ngl.
