MEGHNA IS MOVING TO PARIS! 🇫🇷 Ladies, gentlemen; leisure stalkers, & wanderers; and my Barbie-world-UltraTopG sister. It’s ‘almost’ politically “eureka” to write this post. Specifically because I’m covering a lot of sub-topics in this: your move, your 21st, our relation. The trinity that makes our current sibling conundrum. There’s only one way to keep this short: Winston Churchill lied. In the hundred years of Anglo-French resentment, there’s a bitter-sweet underlining for us. The British (metaphorically, myself) and the French (metaphorically, you) despised the similarities between each other. Having similar goals [sense of exceptionalism, independence, respect] and using different methods to achieve the same, ever-longing for consensus. The last thing these countries would want is for the observant one [@yashhagrawall] to point out the congruencies. (Violence and Aggression would, then, remain the only option) Therefore, when Churchill (🇬🇧) spat at Charles de Gaulle (🇫🇷) on D-Day saying: “If I’d to choose between Europe and the open seas, I’d always choose the latter,”- I believe he LIED. Being in his position now, bound by borders and silly fights laced with the congruencies of independence (, love) and respect. I believe he’d swim the open seas for France. Moreover, he’d lace his witty one-liners about France with another innocent motive: to garner France’s attention. Because no matter what he’d do or say : his elder sister matters to him (let go of the metaphor there, didn’t I?) Long-story-short, I love you. I believe you’ll be fashionably well and successful in Paris, with my name on your speed dial and foot on a jet waiting for your call. It’s always a pleasure to say I’m your brother (not inspite but BECAUSE of our silly moments with love at the centre.) Happiest Birthday, Meghna! Godspeed. 🚀❤️‍🔥🏆🇫🇷🇬🇧
