Not just witness but also try your hand at Traditional Turkish Techniques!! The workshops at IJS Academy were a reception of craftsmanship. I did not just witness the finesse of Telkari (fine metal delicate filigree), Ajour (intricate metal sawing technique), and Kazaziye ( weaving and wrapping precious metal wires), but also got the rare opportunity to try my hand at them. It was an experience I will always cherish, as this seemed to take me back to my roots of being a 4th generation jeweller - using my hands to create and craft.
