The journey from the depths of the earth to your hands!! I had the golden opportunity to witness the fascinating gold refining process by Kayali Makine @kayalimakina The ore collected from earth is melted and then poured into water to clean it, forming white granules (mix of gold, silver and impurities). It is then further processed with the help of acids, and after a 3-hour long wait, the silver and other impurities float on to the top and the gold settled at the bottom and looks like sand. This granular gold is melted at high temperatures and finally poured into desired molds! Voila!! Precious gold is now ready for market consumption.
