A few months back, while visiting our parents in Delhi, we sneaked in a little staycation, one of those unplanned but perfectly timed breaks. 🌿 We headed to Sariska, stayed at @anantajabgarh Ajabgarh, and honestly… it was exactly what we needed. Calm mornings, peaceful views, fresh air, and weather that felt like it was personally rooting for us. The kind of place where time slows down and you suddenly remember how nice it is to just be. What made it extra special, this was the phase when my daughter had just started walking. Tiny steps, endless excitement, exploring every corner like the world had just opened up for her. Watching her enjoy the space, the greenery, the freedom, pure joy. Those moments stay forever. On our way back, we stopped at Bhangarh Fort. Now, horror stories and I don’t really get along 😅 but I have to admit—there was something captivating about the place. The history, the ruins, the light… and yes, some really good pictures happened, hehe. Looking back, this trip wasn’t about ticking destinations off a list. It was about slow days, family time, first milestones, and memories quietly settling into our hearts. (Weekend getaway, Sariska, hills and getaway, staycation)
