Episode 4 of Fixing the Ignored Balcony is all about revisiting mistakes, trusting instinct over perfection, and letting colour lead the way. Kyunki not every DIY works the first time🫣 This frame was one of those projects for me, bad colour and detailing. Almost written off… until I decided to give it another chance while working on my balcony. No strict plan, no reference image to follow, just layers, textures, and a little freehand experimentation….hehe From stripping off the old paint to choosing bold colours, sealing it properly, and finally pairing it with an artwork I truly loved (gaur se dekhna, it has clothes hanging in a lovely street) this piece slowly found its place again. What I love most about DIY is this part, that it’s so so colourful. I know a lot of you may not like these many colours, but sometimes, doing “a little extra” is exactly what a space needs.… hai na?
