Gurgaon faced massive traffic disruptions on Monday as waterlogging and vehicle breakdowns brought movement across the city to a standstill. Stranded commuters flooded the traffic police helpline, which had received nearly 200 distress calls by 7:30 pm, seeking assistance in shifting stalled vehicles, reporting breakdowns, and finding alternative routes. The worst bottleneck was witnessed on the Delhi-Jaipur Expressway (NH-48) near Rajiv Chowk, where authorities had to deploy a water pump to clear the inundated stretch. Heavy congestion was also reported from Narsinghpur, Hero Honda Chowk, IFFCO Chowk, and the Kherki Daula toll plaza.
