Khursheed's Post

Sanaea, my sister is a mini encyclopedia on food and reviews it. We sampled the sensational Goan food pop -up at Sen5es restaurant at @marriottsuitespune. The menu was curated by guest Chef Shraddha of @goenchekitchen. With a live performer belting out peppy numbers, patrons sipping refreshing coconut punch, the vibe was susegad. Fish ruled the menu from decadent prawns recheado, fish rawa fried and prawn curry with rice. Goan favourites of succulent Goan chicken chilli with kaju, mutton vindaloo and chicken cafreal served with steamed rice and poi bread by servers in colourful shirts transported us to Goa. Bebinca with vanilla ice cream was top notch. For vegetarians there were crunchy beetroot cutlets, veg xacuti served with steamed rice and dessert of serradura or sawdust pudding which had layers of soft whipped cream and powdered biscuit. @marriottbonvoy @marriotthotels
