15 days in Banaras, and a routine found me. Wake up, shower, Tara Ma, Kali Ma. No food before seeing Kali Ma. Barefoot walks, ghats mornings and nights, friends, laughter, flying kites, my little Bhairavas, & endless Har Har Mahadev. They say Banaras is messy, chaotic, imperfect. But Kashi is Kashi. In all that chaos, I felt calm. Happy without reason. Not tired, not hungry, just… present. I don’t travel with checklists. If I love a place, I stay until it tells me to leave, or until work calls me back. Banaras will always be my heart. Changing or not, Kashi remains Kashi.
