Tucked away in the serene heart of Nubra Valley, The Dune Escape feels like a hidden gem cradled by the majestic Karakoram Range. I stayed here during my Ladakh journey, and it was truly the perfect blend of luxury and warmth. The property is spread across 15 kanals of natural beauty — peaceful, spacious, and designed for comfort. What made the stay memorable for me wasn’t just the cozy room with a minibar, coffee machine, or even the relaxing spa and crackling bonfire evenings — it was the genuine hospitality. Every single staff member was kind and attentive, and I even got a chance to meet the owner — such a grounded, warm-hearted soul. You can really feel the passion behind the place. Their in-house kitchen is another highlight — they use ingredients from their own kitchen garden, and everything is freshly prepared. From hearty meals to freshly squeezed juices in the morning, every dish felt nourishing and made with love. Another thing I loved? Its location! The sand dunes are barely 10 minutes away, which made our early morning camel ride and golden hour shoots super easy and convenient.
