#Tashkent metro has some unique themed stations, and one that stands out is the Kosmonavtlar (Cosmonauts) Station. This station is designed to celebrate space exploration. This metro station reminds me of the first metro in Kolkata, which was built in a similar pattern, having themes like Rabindra Sadan, Maidan etc. There are blue ceramic medallions featuring images of Ulugbek, Icarus, Valentina Tereshkova, Yuri Gagarin, Vyacheslav Volkov, and Vladimir Dzhanibekov. The top ceiling is designed to represent the Milky Way. #traveluzbekistan #indianvagabonds
