Wishing u all a happy & joyful Holi. Hope u all had a fantastic & colourful day with lots of sweetness filled all through today's moments. Had some quality time well spent at the ISKCON Temple, Kharghar in the company of like minded spiritual seekers from every nook & corner of Navi Mumbai. Really enchanting effect of devotion which simply swept away all thoughts of Corona virus or shooting a vlog during those hours, was blissfully immersed in the evening Aarti & kirtan by the priests & dedicated monks there. Their passion was exemplary in any field of service- be it serving prasad, managing library & book stalls, running satvik restaurant or dancing whole heartedly with the devotees to the sound of mridang,kartal & bhajans. Got some interesting facts about this centre today: There has been a dedicated curriculum on Vedic Sciences designed & recently their 1st batch of students had a convocation ceremony after completion of the 1 year course. Their "Kala Kshetra" promotes any form of performing arts whole heartedly be it drama,song, dance etc & even conducts performances by renowned theater groups or local artists in the form of devotional plays, monologue acts etc during festival days such as Ratha Yatra or Raas Leela. Construction is going on for full fledged classrooms, hostels, auditorium dedicated to the setting up of a Vedic Learning Institution based upon on the ancient Indian gurukula tradition where students will be imparted knowledge & wisdom from the Vedas & scriptures+ Bhagwad Gita There are also short/term crash courses on learning & practicing Sanskrit literature, self-development sessions inspired from Bhagwad Gita lessons & raising Krishna consciousness globally for peace & harmony among all religions & communities all over the world. Felt great to visit such a holy place on this auspicious day & deeply inspired by the upcoming projects & noble initiatives of this spiritual organisation.
