This weekend, I had the pleasure of attending the inaugural of the most incredible art exhibition - a "Journey in Watercolors" 🎨 Dr. Alok Srivastava, a retired bureaucrat, picked up his paintbrush after several decades, proving to us all that it's never too late to discover new passions. 😍 His collection of self-taught paintings beautifully captures his travel experiences. Monuments, tourist spots, streams, birds, and wildlife all find a place on his canvas. . . Immersing in Dr. Alok Srivastava's watercolors is like strolling through a vivid symphony of travel tales and timeless beauty. And the last picture? A beautiful postcard painting of a deer in the wild, which he graciously gifted me as a parting gesture 🎁✨ . The exhibition is on till February 2, 2024, at the Art Gallery, India International Centre Annexe, New Delhi, from 11 AM to 7 PM. A lovely way to spend a weekend afternoon.
