If you have an extra day, then you can stay one night at Madumalia National Park. This Park falls on the Pykara route and is ~57 km from Ooty. We skipped visiting the main touristy places in Ooty as we just had 3 days and didn't want to make our trip quite hectic but you can also visit the below places inside Ooty. - Ooty Lake - Botanical Garden - Karnataka Garden - Rose Garden - Ziplining at Eagle Dare Adventures - Tribal Museum - Emerald Lake - Avalanche Lake & Toda tribal temple You can also do a half day trip to Coonoor: Take the morning train from Ooty at 9.35 am and reach Coonoor at 11.35 am and then explore the below places at your leisure: - Sims park - Lamb rock - Dolphin nose point - Highfield Tea estate Also keep in mind that bike rentals are not allowed in Ooty and hence you will need to opt for rick/taxi which charge approx 1500/2500 per day for day trips or go in for self drive option from Coimbatore Also you will need an e-pass when visiting the Nilgiris which you can register online. #ootytrip #naughtyandcurly #ootydiaries #udagamandalam
