Something we never like while visiting hill stations in India is the guides trying to constantly pester us to take horse rides and visit the usual touristy places. We understand that is their job, but the constant nagging and haggling is definitely not fun. If you've ever been to Matheran, you know how it is. At #Doodhpathri, as the daylight was fading and the guides were winding down, we went up for a stroll. We passed many guides who were done for the day and going home. Some of them catching up with their friends over a cup of tea. These horses were left to graze on the side of the hill and were quite friendly.
