Every time I see a woman begging for a man’s love, I wonder—what do men really want? And I think I’ve finally figured it out. They want you to feel nothing—no emotions, no complaints, no needs of your own. But when they do need something? You should be right there, ready to care for them, to please, to serve. Just exist for their convenience. Smile, but not too much, or you’re “trying too hard.” Be independent, but not too independent, or you’re “intimidating.” Be soft, but not too soft, or you’re “lazy.” Don’t be too successful, but don’t be idle either. Have ambition, but not so much that it threatens them. Never outshine them, never question them, never challenge them. Always agree, always submit, always make them feel like they are the smartest, strongest, most capable man in the room. Oh, and of course, you should be this perfectly sculpted goddess—curvy, but not too curvy, because that wouldn’t be attractive. Meanwhile, they can look like the back of a bicycle seat, and that’s just fine. Aging gracefully? That’s for them. You, on the other hand, need to remain effortlessly youthful, but don’t let it seem like you’re trying to. That would be desperate. It’s so obvious what men want—I can’t imagine why women are ever frustrated with them.
