Coorgi cuisine maybe well known to folks in Karnataka but what we don’t realise is the cuisine has its roots deeply immersed in culture while also being influenced by the region’s geography and climate. I had the chance to indulge in a specially curated Kodava spread by Chef Shimon Nanjappa well known for her expertise in her local cuisine as well as traditional and sustainable cooking practises. @theparkbangalore is showcasing this authentic and distinct Taste of Coorg from 27th January to 5th February for all food enthusiasts in Bengaluru. Sneak peek from my experience last weekend. Join me in celebrating the #TasteofCoorg with dishes such Pandi curry (pork curry), Kori yerchi nallamallu (Lamb roast), Sigdi Meen Bartha (Chilli marinated prawns), Kadambuttu (Steamed rice dumpling), Cardamom custard and many more. #theparkbangalore #theparkhotels #anythingbutordinary #coorgicuisine #coorg #Bengaluru #rjheartnsoul
