
Mizoram – India’s first fully literate state . In the first finally, India has its first fully literate state . Usually ignored as one of the eastern states of India, Mizoram has finally attained its full literacy status. . This comes a few years after India’s new literacy program, wherein states need to have 95% population, educated enough to gain full literacy status. . After September 2023 survey, Mizoram went on to create a community of educated individuals and help 3026 people to gain sufficient literacy. As a result, Myra now has literacy rate of 98.2% the first of its kind in all of India. . This comes years after 10+ cities have gained metropolitan status in India, but unable to achieve more than 90% literacy rate . .
