Last admission night shift in OBGYN✨ It ended with the birth of this little baby boy I helped bring into the world 👶🏻🤍 There’s truly nothing like that moment when a mother hears her baby cry for the first time after hours of painful labour. The look of relief, joy, and pure calm makes every long night and tired moment worth it. It’s my last week in OBGYN, and it feels bittersweet. I’m glad the exhausting shifts are finally over, but a part of me wishes I could stay a little longer. There’s still so much to learn, and no feeling compares to seeing a healthy mother and her baby. Maybe I’m starting to fall a little in love with Obstetrics and Gynaecology after all. 🩷 .
