⬇️STORY HERE I’ve wanted to be a doctor since I was a kid, but my real journey began after Class 10 boards in 2015. Choosing Science was a no brainer with Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology, and English. School was easy; I was always a topper. But NEET UG coaching humbled me fast. Everyone there was a topper in their own school. I wasn’t special anymore. I wasn’t the smart one anymore. I was just one among hundreds chasing the same dream. Every mock test, I would scroll from the bottom to find my name. Forget top 10 like my dad hoped, I couldn’t even make top 300. I felt judged, stupid, and my confidence shattered. In Class 12, I left coaching to focus on my boards. After boards, I took a drop year, rejoined coaching, and started from scratch. My first NEET score was 513 out of 720, not enough for a government college. I was crushed. But I decided that I am going to learn from my mistakes: I focused on biology, revised more than I studied new topics, and reworked every wrong question until I got it right! Next attempt, I scored 637 out of 720. I knew I was finally going to a government medical college. 💕 I thought my struggles were over. I was just so wrong 🥲🥲 Medical college came with new battles. I had to adjust to a new city, face toxic hierarchies, deal with betrayals, learn not to take things personally, and sometimes even be SELFISH just to survive. Academics were hard, but surviving med school was WAY HARDER!. It’s been 10 years since I chose Science in Class 11. And today, after everything, I can proudly say… my name is Dr. Ishita Banerjee. 🩺✨ . #story #mystory #mbbs #medicalstudent #neetug #neetaspirants #doctor #mbbsstudent #neetbiology #inspiration #myjourney #mylife #mylifestory
