22nd August, 2025 The day finally came. Laptop in my hands. Dream laptop? I’m not sure. Funny thing is, I once swore I’d never buy one. Thought a tablet with a keyboard would do. Small, simple, less trouble. But life has its own way of proving you wrong - exams, work, the kind of things a tablet can’t handle. Windows was unavoidable. I’ve owned a laptop before. 2017. Not my choice. My parents decided what I should have, right down to the color. Sounds petty now, but back then it was a wound. My voice didn’t matter. Maybe that’s why this time, it had to be only my decision. And it was. @samsung loyalist through and through, I wanted my own little galaxy (@samsungwithgalaxy ) around me. August 17th, 2025 - Samsung Galaxy Book 5 Pro. Paid in full. No EMI. Another milestone after my S22 Ultra back in 2023. I should be over the moon, right? But here’s the thing… I’m not. Maybe it’s because of the fights I had to go through to get here. The noise, the arguments - was it worth disturbing my peace for this? Maybe it’s because it drained me financially. I had the money, sure, but seeing my savings vanish in one go made me wonder how far I am from stability. How long until I can buy what I want without feeling the price burn? Will I ever reach that stage? Or maybe… it’s the pressure. I bought this to grow, to learn, to move forward. But what if I don’t? What if this ends up as just an expensive mistake? Still, I’ve always loved tech more than gold, clothes, or shoes. That hasn’t changed. Maybe it’s my upbringing, making me question if I’m even worthy of using something like this. But I’ll try to shake that off.
