When we moved into our first apartment in Germany, we were excited… Until we opened the door and saw NO KITCHEN. No stove. No sink. Not even a shelf. Back in India, this would never happen! We bought a second-hand kitchen, and built it from scratch—one screw, one shelf at a time.
