Anecdote. FULL TEXT: It never ever came to my mind that I was different in any way. I had always been the way I am and never felt that I am different. What made me realise was the world around me. I was in 10th standard when for the first time, I had a crush on a guy and I approached him to express what was going on in my heart. It didn't really work out the way it should have, but I really appreciated how he dealt with my confession to him and answered in a healthy way. We even stayed in touch with each other for a while. Somehow, this man gave me the courage to come out to the world, and to be who I am. Before I ask the world to accept me, I have to accept myself. There have been many complications and tragedies in life amongst which it was very difficult to face the world and tell the truth. I'm glad that today, the people I love know about my sexuality and have started acknowledging the fact. They accept me the way I am. Update: @rohit.bhutani.09 has been tagged with his consent. . . .
