This one magical trick reduced a lot of her screen time! Read caption for details Ok, so I don’t know if this will work for you, but it did wonders for me. Try it out! 1. I got her interested in books – colourful ones with lot of animals birds etc all of her interest. 2. It took some time, but consistently sitting & reading with her or even giving her some books, over time, she started showing interest and would sit with a book 3-4 times a day. 3. I also started showing her boring stuff on screen, reduced colours as well so that books looked more interesting. 4. To my surprise, it worked. Eventually whenever she gets time, she’ll grab a book and ask to read or she would herself sit and look at the pictures. 5. But make sure, books are interesting enough. 6. I also started story telling more. 7. I didn’t have to do anything to push her too much, but screen time reduced. 8. It will not completely reduce their interest in screens but diverting the interest and boring them with less stimulating stuff can bring in a fresh interest in books.
