Visiting Jaisalmer? Here are 5 mistakes that you must avoid 1. The first mistake that everyone does is visiting Jaisalmer fort in the morning. 9 am to 1 pm is when all tourists visit n it get really very crowded. So instead, visit in the evening after 4 pm where the crowd is less and it’s easy to explore around. 2. Everyone does desert camping but most of them skip the star gazing experience in middle of a desert. This experience is something you should definitely not miss out as you will spot shooting stars, the Milky Way n so many constellations. 3. Visit Gadisar lake for sunrise instead of sunset. There will be absolutely no crowd and you can get some amazing photographs just like I did. 4. Not visiting the Jaisalmer war museum. The museum showcases the bravery and sacrifices made by the Indian armed forces and will make you feel proud as an Indian! 5. Not staying close to the fort area. When you stay close to the fort, you get to explore the local markets and try different street foods.
