🪁✨☀️ Makar Sankranti ki shubhkamnayein! This harvest festival marks the sun’s transition into Capricorn and the start of longer, warmer days ☀️ For me, it has always meant flying kites, til-gud, and giving to those in need. What I love most is how this one festival changes its name and traditions every few kilometres — different foods, different rituals, different ways of celebrating, yet the same spirit at heart. In our home, it has always been about daan — sharing what we have and remembering those who have less. This morning, while explaining the festival (and reading up a little myself 😄), I ended up having the loveliest conversation with Yuvraaj and Aarna — about seasons, food, sharing, and why we celebrate what we celebrate. This is what makes a festival truly meaningful for me! Now I’d love to hear from you — 🌾 What do you call this harvest festival in your home or state? 🍽️ What’s the one dish that must be made today? 🪁 Do you celebrate it big, or keep it simple? Let’s learn from each other in the comments ✨🪁 #makarsankranti #lohri #tilgul
