I look at them and think .... What if I’m not here tomorrow? Who’s going to understand my child the way I do? Who will know how they like their food prepared? Who will feed them when they’re hungry, not just with meals, but with love and patience? Who will hold them close when they cry, even if they say they’re fine? If I’m not around, who will cover them at night when they kick off the blanket in their sleep? Who will sense their mood without needing a word? Who will pray over them every night like I do, with tears, hope, and a heart full of love? Sometimes I can’t help but worry… What if they get sick and I’m not there to sit by their side all night? What if life gets tough, and I’m not around to remind them how strong they really are? I know I can’t control everything. But as a mom, these thoughts stay with me. They live in a quiet space inside my heart. Because no one else will ever love my child the way I do. No one else will notice the little things the way I do. And that… is what scares me the most.🥺
