As per Mr Thiba, Asrani passed away around 3 p.m. on October 20, 2025, and his funeral took place on the same day around 8 p.m. Sharing the condition of Govardhan’s family members, Mr Thiba revealed: “He was not feeling well and was admitted to Arogya Hospital four days ago due to breathing issues, He passed away at around 3 PM today. His last rites were performed at 8 PM today. The family is back home now… very sad.” A report by News 18 revealed that Govardhan Asrani’s wife paid a silent tribute to her late husband by fulfilling his last wish. As per the report, sources shared that Govardhan wanted a quiet and dignified departure from his world.
