
Debunking all myths with my all time fav @optimumnutri_in MYTH: Don’t drink milk, humans aren’t supposed to drink milk of other animals. Drink soy milk instead. ✅ FACT: Most healthy Indian adults can consume milk in moderation without issues. Lactose intolerance or dairy allergies are exceptions. MYTH: Don’t drink soy milk, soy messes up with your thyroid. Drink black tea/coffee instead. ✅ FACT: Cooking destroys goitrogens in soy. Moderate soy consumption (1–2 servings/day) is generally safe for most people. (Depends on case to case) MYTH: Don’t drink coffee/tea, it messes up with your sleep. Have fruit juice instead. ✅ FACT: Caffeine tolerance varies. Limit coffee/tea to 2–3 cups (~200–300mg caffeine) daily, and avoid before bedtime. MYTH: Don’t drink juice, it has too much sugar. Drink whey protein instead. ✅ FACT: Whole fruits are preferred due to fiber content. If juicing, opt for pulp-included, no-added-sugar options. MYTH: Don’t drink whey protein, it has chemicals, hard to digest, not good for kidneys.
