Monkey Island, also known as Arara Island or Ronda Island, is a 450-hectare nature reserve located on the Amazon River, about 20-35 km from Leticia, Colombia. It is famous for being home to thousands of free-roaming squirrel monkeys (monkeys), which interact with visitors and climb on them. The visit includes jungle tours to observe the flora and fauna and it is one of the best lifetime experience to watch these cute little Micos.. They will come and sit upon you, will play with you, you can click pictures with them and moreover nothing to get afraid as they will not harm you..
