Instagram vs. Reality: 4 months postpartum, and yes, this first pic is an illusion thanks to high-waisted shorts. But let’s be real – there’s no such thing as ‘bouncing back’ after having a baby. I’ve had a C-section, and some days I struggle when I look at my body, annoyed at the changes. I’ve never seen myself like this before… but then again, I’ve never been a mother before either. 💖 That being said, I’m doing my best to find time and get back on my fitness journey. But even if I lose this mom pouch, I know my body will never be the same – and that’s okay. I’m learning to show myself grace and love for everything my body has been through and is still going through.
