My Baby’s First Food Celebration 🍚✨ Annaprashan — the Bengali rice ceremony — is a beloved and sacred ritual in many cultures, marking a baby’s very first taste of solid food. Though I hadn’t grown up with this tradition in my family, the essence of the moment was never lost on us. In our home, we always chose an auspicious day to begin a baby’s solid food journey, honoring the occasion in our own heartfelt way. For my little one, that special day came during Navratri — a time overflowing with divine energy and devotion. It felt only right, because this year, my baby is our very own little Durga Maa 🌸 — a tiny blessing who arrived like a goddess into our lives. As part of our Navratri celebration, I performed Kanya Puja, honoring the divine feminine — and in that sacred spirit, we celebrated my daughter’s very first food with love, joy, and gratitude. It wasn’t just a meal. It was a blessing. A ritual. A memory woven in gold. Different families, different traditions — but the love behind every first bite is always the same. 💛 #firstfoodsforbaby #ritual #kanyapujan👸👣jaimataki♥️ #love🧿🧿
