When in Bengal during Winters, you have to try out Koraishutir Kochuri and Aloor dum ✨ Here’s the list of ingredients: For the aloo dum: * 4 medium sized potatoes.( peeled cut and washed) * Pachphoran, 2 red chillis, 1bay leave and 2 elaichi for seasoning * Ginger, garlic and 4 green chillies finely chopped * 2 medium sized onions chopped * 2 medium sized tomatoes chopped * Mustard oil for cooking * 1 tbsp coriander powder * 1 tbsp jeera powder * 1 tsp #everest red chilli powder * 1 tsp haldi powder * Pinch of #everest garam masala * Handful of fresh coriander leaves for garnishing * Water for adjusting the gravy For the dough * 2 cups plain flour maida * ¼ cup melted ghee, salt to taste For the green peas filling * 2 cups green peas * 1 tsp chopped green chillies * 1 tsp grated ginger ( adrak) * 2 tbsp oil * ½ tsp nigella seeds (kalonji) * 2 tsp fennel seeds (saunf) * 2 bayleaves (tejpatta) * 1 tsp chilli powder * 1 tsp garam masala * 4 tbsp finely chopped coriander * salt to taste * oil for deep frying Try out the recipe as shown in the quick video (reel) and do share it with us.
