These days, mall shopping is quick, easy, and under the comfort of AC but nothing beats the feel of those old city market strolls. As a child, I remember the excitement of going with my mom, picking fabrics, matching bangles, juttis, that one special outfit for Eid or a wedding 💫 I wanted my daughters to feel that same magic ✨ So off we went to the bylanes of the old city 😍 From buying fabric for their Eid outfits (before the @rawish_designs tailors get overbooked 😅), to bangle matching, jutti hunting, having Kaladi Kulcha, and sipping Banta from the iconic Bantawala 🥛 And of course, ending the day with the legendary Falooda Kulfi 😋 It wasn’t just shopping — it was a day full of stories, laughter, flavours, and those little traditions I grew up with.
