Our nights aren’t just about bedtime, they’re about connection. That quiet hour before sleep where stories turn into giggles, giggles melt into cuddles, and the day slowly fades into a warm little hug. ✨ Our routine is simple; a soft bath, a favorite bedtime story, and a few minutes of just us talking about our day. Sometimes she falls asleep mid-sentence, sometimes she insists on one more story (and I give in, obviously). Because someday, these moments will be memories; the smell of her hair, her sleepy smile, the way she wraps her arms around me like I’m her whole world. So I try to slow down and really live in these moments. Do’s: 1. Do keep a calm, cozy atmosphere, soft lights, slow voices, warm hugs. 2. Do end the day with gratitude, talk about one good thing that happened. 3. Do stay present, phones away, hearts open. 4. Do make it a ritual, the predictability makes them feel safe. 5. Do let love lead, no matter how tired the day has been. Don’ts: 1. Don’t rush bedtime, it’s not a task, it’s a memory in the making. 2. Don’t worry about perfection, messy hair and mismatched pajamas are fine. 3. Don’t use this time for corrections or reminders — just peace and warmth. 4. Don’t skip storytime, even if it’s short, it matters more than you think. 5.
