Book Review: Game On! by Himanjali Sankar Review by Vihaan When I first picked up Game On!, I thought it would be just another fun story. After reading a few pages, I couldn’t quite understand what was happening — but then I thought, let me try again. So I continued reading, and it turned out to be quite different! The book is about two siblings whose normal home suddenly turns into something really strange and scary, like a real-life horror video game. Corridors stretch endlessly, things keep changing shape, and the whole house feels alive and creepy. I loved how the author mixed something as ordinary as a house with the weirdness of a game world. It made me imagine what I would do if my own house suddenly became like that! The story moves fast, with lots of exciting and funny moments, and I never got bored. What I liked most is how real the brother-sister part feels — they argue, panic, and also care for each other, just like real siblings. It’s not a very emotional book, but it’s definitely entertaining and creative. My verdict: Game On! is perfect for kids who enjoy spooky adventures and video-game-style stories. It’s full of surprises, imagination, and quick twists that make you want to keep reading. It’s not too scary — just the right kind of “fun scary.” ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me!
