A Skin Care Step that I never skip ⏭️ As a creator, my job comes with constant sun exposure, harsh studio lights, heavy makeup, travel, and long shoot days. All of this slowly shows up on your skin if you’re not mindful. That’s exactly why there’s one step I never skip — sunscreen. Ever. For me, sunscreen hasn’t just been about protection from the sun and pollution. With consistent use, I’ve seen it gradually reverse early signs of ageing too. In my case, it was the sun spots and acne marks that had started becoming more prominent because of constant exposure. Over time, with regular sunscreen use, my skin tone began to look more even, calmer, and healthier. And here’s something I strongly believe in — you can follow the most elaborate 7-step skincare routine, use the best serums and actives, but if you’re skipping sunscreen, you’re undoing all that effort. Sunscreen is the step that locks in your skincare, protects your progress, and allows your skin to actually heal and repair. Whether I’m shooting outdoors, sitting under bright ring lights, travelling between cities, or wearing layers of makeup — sunscreen always goes on first and gets reapplied. Because glow doesn’t come from filters or complicated routines, it comes from consistency and protection. Creator or not — if you step out, if you’re exposed to light and pollution, if you care about your skin long-term — don’t skip sunscreen.
