Kasar Devi, a small hilltop village near Almora in Uttarakhand, is one of those quaint villages that has been known for its art, poetry, spiritualism, and hippie culture. Trying to brief you about what you must do in here - Visit Kasar Devi Temple - The Kasar Devi Temple offers a pleasant view of the Almora city and Hawabagh Valley. One can also savour a 360 degree view of the majestic Himalayas peaks. This temple has been of special importance because the region around this temple has enormous geomagnetic field because this temple comes under the Van Allen Belt. The causes behind the formation of this belt have been researched by NASA Watch sunset at Crank’s Ridge -just opposite the temple is the ridge , it is pretty visible actually. Please don't miss that view because you will see some of the most amazing sunsets from that place. Hike to Ghadoli Village - Gadholi is a small Village/hamlet in Hawalbag Block in Almora. It is 3kms from Kasar Devi and has magnificent views to offer. Visit Binsar wildlife Sanctuary - Just an hour or less than that lies an untouched sanctuary that is covered in the forests of oak, rhododendron, and pines. And if the sky is clear, you also get to the majestic snow-capped Himalayas. You can walk up to zero point, around 1.5 km from the starting point, and capture the scenic views I really love this place and there is still so much left to be explored.
