In this brew, I’m exploring three distinct expressions of orthodox tea from @mistymountainpeermadetea —all from the same tea plant, yet worlds apart in taste, texture, and experience. 🍃 Orange Pekoe (OP) Made from whole, young tea leaves that are neatly rolled. The result is a clean, smooth cup with gentle floral notes and a refined finish. 🍃 Broken Orange Pekoe (BOP) The same leaves, intentionally broken to allow faster infusion. This creates a stronger, brisker brew with more body—perfect for milk tea or masala chai lovers. 🍃 Silver Needle The most delicate of them all. Crafted using only unopened tea buds, naturally covered in soft white hair. It brews into a light golden cup that’s sweet, calming, and beautifully subtle—without any bitterness. ✨ Whole leaves.
