Let’s do a trial reel today to test!!! 🥳 Palak chicken 🫶🏼✨ Writing the easiest recipe here~ Ingredients ✨500g chicken (with or without bone) ✨ 2 big bunches spinach (palak), washed & roughly chopped ✨ 2 medium onions (finely chopped) ✨ 1 green chilli (slit, optional) ✨ 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste ✨ 2–3 tbsp plain yogurt (whisked) ✨ 2 tbsp oil/ghee ✨ ½ tsp cumin seeds ✨ 1 bay leaf (optional) ✨ 1 tsp turmeric powder ✨ 1 tsp red chilli powder (adjust to taste) ✨ 1 tsp coriander powder ✨ ½ tsp garam masala ✨ Salt to taste Method: 1. Prepare spinach: Blanch spinach in hot water for 2–3 minutes, then transfer to cold water. Blend into a smooth puree and keep aside. 2. Cook onions: Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds (and bay leaf if using). Add onions, sauté until golden brown. 3. Stir in ginger-garlic paste and green chilli, cook for 1 min. 4. Marinate chicken: Add turmeric, red chilli, and coriander powder. Mix well. Add chicken: Add chicken pieces, sauté for 6–8 minutes until lightly browned. 5. Yogurt step: Lower the heat, add whisked yogurt slowly while stirring (to avoid curdling). Cook for 3–4 minutes until it blends into a nice gravy. 6. Add spinach: Stir in the spinach puree, add ½ cup water (adjust as per thickness). Cover and cook on medium heat for 15–20 minutes until chicken is tender. 7. Finish: Sprinkle garam masala, stir, and rest for 2 minutes before serving. 8.
