When I came to Bombay 15 years ago, I didn’t even dare to dream that I’d buy a house here. I was a complete stranger in this city of dreams where I knew nobody! There were times when I had literally no money, and I’d have to choose between taking an auto or eating a vada pav. It’s unbelievable how things have changed. Today, bieng in my own home feels like a dream and it’s a proud moment for me. I couldn’t have done it without my family’s support of course. This is where I am today, and it’s a dream come true. I’m grateful for every struggle, every sacrifice that led me here. This is my own, and it feels surreal.
