Narapora — known across India as Holika Dahan — is the sacred bonfire lit on the eve of Holi. In Bengal, we call it Narapora (ন্যাড়াপোড়া). In many other parts of the country, it’s Holika Dahan — rooted in the legend of Prahlad and Holika from the Bhagavata Purana, where devotion survived and arrogance was reduced to ash. But standing in front of that fire, it never feels like just mythology. It feels symbolic. Communities gather, offerings are made, and the flames become a quiet reminder — that ego burns, faith survives, and renewal begins before the colours of Holi arrive. Different names. Same ritual. A shared belief in the victory of good over evil. — Have you witnessed Narapora or Holika Dahan in your city? 🤍 Tell me what it’s called where you live. — © Original content by Soulclickstudio • Story reshares are welcome with proper tags 🤍 • Reposting or reuse is not permitted • For permissions or enquiries — DM @soulclickstudio #holikadahan #nerapora #soulclickstudio #luxeindiea
