Palitana is one of the holiest pilgrimage sites for us Jains. It is believed that every Jain should do this yatra at least once in their lifetime. The climb takes you through more than 3,800 steps leading to the Shatrunjaya hill, which has over 900 beautiful temples carved in marble. The main temple here is dedicated to Lord Adinath (Rishabhdev), the first Tirthankar. Walking here is not just a physical journey but also a spiritual one - every step brings a sense of calm, gratitude and faith.
