11,000 feet upar in Switzerland — jahan chain ki saans lena thoda mushkil hai ! Being middle-class, this was our first ever international trip. And Switzerland? Dream destination for us Indians We did what every first-timer does—Google, YouTube, Instagram, itineraries, reels. One place showed up everywhere: Top of Europe. Pictures dekhe and we were sold. But, what photos don’t tell you is this: Reaching here is not easy. First, a train to Grindelwald. Then a cable car to Eiger Glacier. Then another train to Jungfraujoch Station. And after all that… you still have to walk 4–5 kilometres to really see the glaciers properly. By the time we reached the top, excitement slowly turned into Light dizziness, heavy breathing & feeling tired way too quickly. We don't want to scare you but especially for people coming from low-altitude countries like India its very challenging. To all the first-timers like us 🤍 Don’t rush or push your body. Walk really slow. Take breaks in between the journey. Carry a big water bottle and keep sipping. Eat light food. Wear multiple layers to stay warm. And enjoy the glaciers ❄️ Because sach bolein toh, isse better snow-covered mountains aap apni lifetime mein kahin aur nahi dekh paoge !
