Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine running a clothing brand and having so much fun while hustling for my dream. That’s the beauty of doing what you love - it never feels like work; it feels like living your purpose. Every single day, I get to experience something new - designing, brainstorming, and creating while meeting incredibly talented individuals who inspire me with their stories. It’s a privilege to know that 5feet11 is not just about fashion; it’s about contributing to people’s lives, creating opportunities and building something truly beautiful and meaningful together. 2024 wasn’t just about growth, it was about facing some tough but necessary truths. One of the biggest lessons I learned is that no matter how passionate or driven you are, you can’t do it all alone. Letting go of my ego and stepping back from certain roles wasn’t easy, but it was necessary for the bigger picture. As a founder, it’s tempting to hold on to everything, thinking no one care about your dream as much as you do. This wasn’t just a shift for the business, it was a shift in my mindset, and it taught me that personal growth is just as important as professional success. Running a business isn’t always glamorous, but every challenge and every lesson makes the journey worthwhile.
