This is one of the New Seven Wonders of the World!!! 🤯😍🌍 Welcome to Petra in Jordan! 🇯🇴 This ancient city is carved straight into rose-colored rock cliffs and dates back more than 2,000 years. It has an interesting history and the experience of getting there is just as iconic. You walk through a long, narrow canyon called the Siq, surrounded by towering stone walls that slowlyyyyy reveal the main sight…. the Treasury, standing tall and magnificent, almost glowing in the sunlight. Photos do not do the place justice but trust me, the sight takes your breath away!!! 🤩 Camels walking by, cats meowing by, ancient tombs carved into cliffs, endless desert landscapes, and viewpoints that make you realize how massive this lost city once was. As a kid, I read about it and never actually thought I’d go there! But ahhh here we are.
