E85 offers a lower fuel price and lower carbon emissions, but the drop in mileage reduces its financial advantage. Unless you own a Flex Fuel Vehicle and have easy access to E85 pumps, E20 remains the more practical option for most Indian drivers. The real benefit of E85 lies more in reducing fossil fuel use than in dramatically lowering daily running costs.
